Charleston Video Service is led by award-winning photojournalist, videographer, and director David Keller. After more than five years of shooting video for television news, David left the business to follow his dream of working for himself. He now has 10 years of full-time professional videography and video editing experience. His news credentials include working as a full time photojournalist for WPDE in Florence, SC, WLOS in Asheville, NC, and working as Chief Photojournalist for WCBD here in Charleston, SC, where he led and managed the entire photography (videography) staff. While at WCBD, David taught video production and video-based storytelling to a team of professional photojournalists.
As Director of Photography for Charleston Video Service, David Keller has experience shooting video in almost any situation you can think of. His video has aired on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, PBS, The Weather Channel, The Food Network, and much more. He has produced everything from 30-minute television shows, to 30-second commercials.
